CUSTOMS STAFF QUARTER AT LAND CUSTOMS STATION RAXAUL



1. A land measuring 2.76 acre was acquired by LCS Raxaul on 08.11.1976 for residential quarters for officers of LCS Raxaul.

2.A land measuring 2.74 acre was acquired by LCS Raxaul (Ministry of Finance) from Indian Embassy (Ministry of External Affairs) free of cost on 22.01.2013.

3.The area is situated in front of Land Customs Station, Raxaul. The newly Staff Quarters were constructed by CPWD at a cost of 11.85 crore approx. and were allotted to the staff members from 12.10.2023 onwards. Presently staff and their family members are residing in these 21 quarters of the following types: TYPE-IV Bunglow-1, TYPE-III-06 besides old residential constructed TYPE-IV/III and TYPE-II quarters.

4.Allotment of quarters is looked after by the Assistant Commissioner, Land Customs Station, Raxaul.

5.In Transit Guest House is available for the officers visiting Raxaul. The rooms can be booked by contacting LCS Raxaul.
